SDG Global Festival of Action!

In May, YRA joined the Global Community to observe the third edition of the SDG Global Festival of Action in Bonn Germany.

Ms. Marina Ponti, the Global Director of the UN SDG Action Campaign noted in her address at the #SDGglobalFest that
“We cannot change where we came from but we can change where we’re going”.

 This was the biggest #SDGglobalFest ever. More than 1700 participants from over 145 countries participated over the 3 days event to take collective action around the Goals. The Festival featured 250 speakers, 60 interactive sessions, 30 innovations and exhibitions, 20+ film screenings and VR/AR experiences, 30+ SDG Studio Talks and more than 10 live Art and Musical performances were showcased.
Climate was at the core of the discussion during the festival and participants pledged their commitments to take tangible actions for the SDGs.
