UN ECOSOC Youth Forum 2019

As a member of the UNMGCY, YRA in April participated at the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum 2019 at the UN Headquarters in New York.

The forum brought youth leaders from around the world to engage with government representatives, youth delegates, policymakers, and other significant stakeholders in civil society and private sector to share vision and elaborate innovative solutions to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.The two-day event featured plenary sessions, interactive thematic and regionally-based discussions.YRA was very active at the Africa Regional Breakout Session on the theme “The Empowerment and Inclusion of Young People in Africa: Towards Durable Solutions for Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Person in Africa”.
